Dr. S. Indira joined as the Principal of Paavai College of Education in the year 2026. She has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Teacher Education, having served as a Lecturer, Professor, and Principal in various reputed institutions. She completed her Undergraduate Degree, Postgraduate Degree, Master of Education (M.Ed.), Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from various universities.
During her tenure, she has produced many successful teachers and contributed significantly to the field of education. She has organized international and national conferences, seminars, workshops, symposiums, webinars, faculty development programmes, awareness programmes, and world record events. She has also achieved centum results and university ranks while focusing on co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Dr. S. Indira has published more than 150 research and thematic papers in reputed national and international journals and conference proceedings. In addition, she has authored several books. She has served as a NAAC Coordinator, a member of the Governing Council. She is also a life member of the Indian Red Cross Society, a member of the Tamil Nadu History Congress, and a voluntary blood donor through the Rotary International and the Indian Red Cross Society.
As a dedicated Principal, she inspires students and serves as a role model for them. She is keen not only on academics, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities, but also on inculcating discipline, values, and social responsibility among students.
