Paavai institutions, in collaboration along with Young India Salem Chapter, Confederation of Indian Industries, organized an awareness session on Autism on 09.04.2018 in Smart hall.
The function started with the prayer song. Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions, presided over the programme. In his presidential address, he insisted the participants to have the basic idea about autism. He also added that the children with autism should be taken care in all phases of their life.Dr. Nivetha Kokilan, Pediatrician, Gokulam Hospitals, gave her keynote address where she stressed that parents should focus on children to detect autism in early stages.Mrs. Suchitra Seethapathy, Child psychologist, gave her special address about Autism to the participants. She explained the behavioral attitude of the children affected by autism. She educated the faculty members of Paavai institutions and the students of Paavai College of Education on how to handle the children with autism in school and college environment with examples.Mr.R.S.Rajaganapathy Sekar, Chair, Yi Salem Chapter, welcomed the gathering. Mr.Ajay L. Rajpaul, Co – Chair, Yi Salem Chapter introduced the Guest speakers. Mrs.A.Samundeeswari, AsP, ECE, gave the vote of thanks.
