India is a Land of festivals. Every festival is celebrated with enthusiasm. It is also our culture. Among other festivals, Pongal is the harvest festival.
On 9th January 2024, Pongal celebrations were conducted in a grand manner in our Paavai college of Education.
Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan Chairman and Smt.Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Educational Institutions, were presided over the function. Principals of Paavai Institutions and Administrative persons were participated in this celebration.
On that day morning session was celebrated by making Pongal by B.Ed., students. Special Poojas were conducted to express the heritage of Tamil people
In the afternoon session, various competitions like Kolam, Rangoli, and some games like fill the water in a bottle, spoon and lemon, and thread the needle games were conducted and the winners were awarded with prizes.
