Paavai Institutions celebrated its Sports Day on 16th April 2019. Our C.A.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. The Managing Director and Chairman of Sambantham group of spinning mills Mr. S. Devarajan was the Chief Guest of the day. Ms.Swesika II ECE welcomed the gathering. The Chief Guest Mr. S. Devarajan inspired the gathering by his inspiring speech. He appreciated our sport persons for their outstanding achievements and he mentioned that sports & games play a vital role in developing the physical as well as mental health of the person. It teach us qualities such as Intelligence, achieving the goal, concentration, patience and facing the challenges. We should follow all these qualities to be successful in our professional life. He highly appreciated and praised Paavai Engineering College for securing Overall Championship with 780 points in the Anna University Inter Zone Tournament and bagged Champions of Champions Trophy for the 5th consecutive year. The chief guest with the dignitaries distributed the prizes to the Inter University students who won Gold medals. Our chairman honoured the chief guest with the memento.
